NEW UMBILICAL PROJECT
Excess Engineering together with partner Geoquip Marine Operations AG (Geoquip) is developing the first versatile umbilical tool for 3000m waterdepth.
The new umbilical project under development enables geotechnical (CPT and other in situ tests) data to be obtained offshore and nearshore at depths below the mudline. It will enable seabed data to be efficiently obtained greatly improved efficiency of investigation. This unique project would not have been possible without the support of Innovation Norway and Skattefunn.
